Snowboarding is fun. Come experience it with us.
Your product on-hill plays a big part in your experience. But we want the process of getting to the hill to be as much fun.
Since Barnyard Ski Rental in 1984, The Boardroom has come a long way. Through 33 years, we’ve constantly been innovating to bring you the absolute best experience possible. Buying a snowboard or renting skis is one thing — how it happens is what’s important to us. We want you to be stoked on your new purchase. But we also want you to remember the vibe of the shop, the beagles, the smell of some fresh wax or popcorn.
Shopping with us gives you peace of mind.
We’ve been around the block a couple of times. We know what works and what doesn’t; if you’ve never ridden before, a Lib Tech Darker Series might not be your best choice. Or if you’re only riding at night, a PRIZM Torch Lens from Oakley is not the way to go. If you’re spending money, you shouldn’t have to worry about making the wrong choice (which is why we’re so anti-online shopping). And when you come back from a day of shredding with a perma-smile on your face, we’ll both know everyone did their job right.
Not just snowboarding.
Yes, we only sell snowboards. However, if you’re a skier or snowmobiler, that doesn’t mean we won’t have something you want. With the industry’s best brands in goggles (Oakley, Smith, Anon and Giro) clothing (Burton, Quiksilver, Under Armour, Roxy and Volcom) and accessories (Stance socks, Dakine, GoPro, Turtle Fur), we’ve got the scratch if you’ve got the itch.
Plus, there are over 250 skis and 80 snowboards in our rental fleet, with many of them being high-performance. We also offer a demo snowboard package, and we’ve got the high-end retail stuff so you can try before you buy. Our service shop has a beast of a Wintersteiger, so we can tune and butter that shred stick or skis in no time. And since we’re just over 200 steps from the Sunrise Lift at Holiday Valley, you don’t have to worry about losing that key parking spot if you’ve got a binding breakdown (snowboard) on the hill.
Don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
That’s the point of email, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat, is it not? This all-new digital world makes communication so easy. We LOVE engaging with our customers both in person and in the digital sphere. Tweet us! Instagram that new setup! Snapchat us your experience on-hill! Post pictures of your time on Facebook. Sharing is caring, people.
We just love what we do.
Mike and Jodie started The Boardroom, and Samantha and Spencer are ready to carry on the legacy. We wouldn’t be where we’re at if we didn’t love what we do — The Boardroom is a labor of love. We want you to love it, too. Because if it’s not fun, then why do it?
